The good folks at Chroma Australia decided to send out free Atelier Interactive paints to people who joined the Colour in Your Life web-site. Since I’m completely addicted to the TV show subscribing was a no brainer. I already subscribe to their YouTube channel and watch all the eps over again when I need a little inspiration, or just something decent to watch while I sort and fold the washing.
Anyway, I finally had a chance to play with my little stash of paints. Read here, I sacrificed a few hours of precious sleep and sat up until 1:00am painting thank you gifts for three super generous ladies from Goodlife Church in Buderim. I’m going to share some of the results here over the next few days.
Today’s featured image is an Oriental Lily I painted using a photograph for reference. As a former florist, I figure I know my flowers pretty well and this was an obvious starting point as it is one of the most popular flowers in any florist’s shop.
Hope you like it. It was painted on gessoed Micador art board.
